Journalist Endowment  Fund:

The fund established with the seed money of 50 million for the Journalists getting injured and suffering loss of life in various incidences. The Provincial Assembly passed the act and the Govt Stationary and Printing Department published the Act on 04-04-2014.

Media/Publicity Cell

• PC-I approved.
• Total cost of the project is 250 million.
• 130 million already released by Finance Department during 2014-15.
• Department will open Assignment account.

Print and Electronic Media Act

• The Provincial Assembly passed the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Censorship of Motion Pictures (Films,CDs,Videos,Stages Dramas and Shows) Act, 2014.

Khyber  Pakhtunkhwa    press, newspaper,  news  agencies  and books registration Act 2013

• Seventy seven (77) newspapers have been registered and Rs. 1.74 million have generated.
• Twelve (12) advertisement agencies have also been registered.
